Wasatch County Council

The Wasatch County Council is the legislative body for Wasatch County. They are responsible for all ordinances, resolutions, budgets and the county code. The council consists of 7 members from 5 geographic regions and 2 at-large members.

Typically, regular sessions are held on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays and work session on 2nd Wednesday. All sessions begin at 3:00 p.m. All public hearings are scheduled for 6:00 pm. All scheduled council meetings will be posted on this website and the State of Utah Public Notice website. Meeting minutes and audio recording are available on this website.

The Council appoints the county manager who holds the executive authority for the county. The county budget runs calendar year so budget hearings are held typical held in December for the upcoming budget year.

The Wasatch County Council also act as the governing board for the following SSD's and organizations:
